What We Offer
Recommended Lecturers
When first reverting, lots of information can be very overwhelming, and it can be incredibly challenging to verify it as well. Here are some videos that we found helpful and informative. They are organized by scholar, doctrine, topic, and language. Scroll Down, and enjoy!
We would like to note that we are not scholars here at The Revert Project, so we are not offering rulings. However, these videos are from respected members who are apart of the “Sunni Consensus”.
Cultural Ambassadors
For reverts, it is often a challenge to relate to our brothers and sisters in Islam in many ways. Since Islam emphasizes time with family, especially in celebration, we can often feel alone.
We offer pieces from reverts all around the world on how to celebrate Muslim holidays as a revert, how to celebrate your own cultural and ethnic holidays while prioritizing Allah, and how to survive in a household where Makruh and Haram are so accepted and woven into culture.
Friendly Mosques
Of course, The Revert Project encourages you to go to any mosque available to you, as you should always feel at home when surrounded by Islam.
Either way, we have lists of recommended mosques in various areas that our peers and employees have found warm, welcoming, and safe places to embrace and grow in Islam.
As we grow, we hope to partner directly with these mosques to bring you new events and programs.
For Students
Though I reverted in 2021, when I was in Grade 11, I was influenced and inspired to come closer to Allah primarily by my friends at university. College is an amazing place to make changes in your life, and it is a natural point to being growth, especially if you are from a household that did not allow for open practicing.
We are proudly partnering with different Muslim Student Associations at universities around the globe, so they can make reverts feel welcome in their community, which for many, will be their first Muslim community. See if your school is listed below!
In Your Language
Lets be honest. Arabic can be an extremely challenging language to learn, and English is not always enough. We want everyone to have equal access to Islamic resources and the Holy Qur’an, without language barriers hindering growth.
Click below to find the Qur’an translation in your own native language, either a free online version or access to a hard copy for very cheap :)
We are currently proudly translating the Quran and/or the Hadith in more than 35 languages, while we are acquiring more and more always.
Dua’as, Quotes, Reminders, Inspiration
Everyone has different parts of Islam that motivates them, inspires them, or just makes them feel happy and calm on the inside. We will have an always-expanding list of dua’as for you guys to make, Islamic quotes to remember, and other things that inspire us and we hope will inspire you to continue your journey in Islam.
These phrases are favorites of our team members, partners, employees, friends, and families. If you have one you love as well, feel free to send it over on the contact page :)
